Off-Site Membrane Cleaning

King Lee Technologies is an industry leader in effectively cleaning both 4" and 8" diameter RO membranes, and we guarantee our cleaning results.  All membranes are cleaned at our San Diego facility, using proprietary King Lee cleaning formulations.  We pre and post test every membrane in order to document cleaning efficiency, and to aid in troubleshooting complex membrane fouling issues.  Following cleaning, the membranes are then returned to the customer bagged, sealed, and boxed.  Upon request, cleaned membranes can be preserved using King Lee Memstor Membrane Preservative, allowing for a longer-term storage of membranes to be used as spares.

Off-Site membrane cleaning is typically utilized by those customers that do not have a membrane cleaning system on site, are subject to severe discharge restrictions, do not have the personnel or time to clean, or who simply prefer the convenience of having membranes cleaned off-site.  King Lee’s specialized membrane cleaning and testing equipment, along with more than 32 different cleaners used in combination, produce results far superior to that of our competitors.

Membrane Autopsy/Foulant Analysis

When it comes to membrane technical services, King Lee Technologies has long been recognized as a technical point of reference in the industry.  A Membrane Autopsy, (which is basically a physical dissection of a fouled RO membrane and a laboratory analysis of its foulants) can be one of the most definitive methods available to troubleshoot an RO system, or to determine the major membrane fouling potentials present during pilot studies.  King Lee membrane autopsies can include a vast array of laboratory analytical procedures, as shown below:
